The CP7402 PCI interface provides four serial ports, each individually configurable for RS-422 or RS-485. The board is capable of data rates to 460.8K bps and automatically handles RS-485 transmitter enable/disable. The CP7402 utilizes 16C550 UARTs that provide 16-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs and ships with a 36" cable that terminates to four DB-9M connectors. Ordering options allow the choice of UARTs with larger FIFOs, support custom baud rates, and 9-bit protocols.


We include our Advanced COM drivers for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP providing IRQ sharing, Windows serial diagnostics, and other enhanced features. Our Linux and QNX utilities are also included to simplify installation.
